| I'm looking for a wedding band for my boyfriend who is very hard on his jewelry. What is the hardest jewelry metal out of platinum, 18k white gold, titanium & any other white metal? And how much harder than the others if you know? |

AFAIK titanium is both the hardest and most durable among metals used for jewelry (though being lightweight as well).
Diamond is much harder but it's a stone, not a metal. |

Platinum is the hardest. Gold is malleable especially if it's above 14K.

The higher the karat in Gold, the easier to damage, my husband is always hands on and so i gave him a 10k, no damage yet! married in May of this year.
As a few jewelers but Titanium is your best option overall. |

I have a titanium necklace and love it. I have heard this is the hardest/most durable.
